Poster Analysis 4- Insidious 2
This film poster is also from a different genre and it again has similar conventions presented.
Despite it is a horror film it still has the same conventions that the previous posters have such as credit & billing like White House Down, release dates and reference to same producers of particular films from the same genre.

Poster Analysis 2- White House Down
The next film I am looking at is White House Down from the action thriller genre. I am purposely chosen a completely different genre to see if they have any similar conventions.
Though the previous example is a different genre, it still has the same conventions noted such as reference to the same director of particular films, social media links and reference to the director.

Poster Conventions
I am going to look at five different posters from different genres to see the conventions marked on the poster. I am going to analyse the similarities of these posters despite that they are from different film genres. I am doing this to help me understand the conventions of posters and so I can include the separate elements in my poster in future.
The posters I am going to look at are from the following films;

Media A2 Foundation Production- Introduction
For my A2 production, I am going to be creating a film marketing campaign which will include a teaser trailer, a film poster and a magazine front cover all promoting the same film.
Currently I am not entirely too sure on which genre I will choose for my course work. For now I will be looking at the conventions of posters, teaser trailers and magazine front covers to see if there is consistency regardless of genre.
It is essential that each separate element of a films' marketing campaign displays consistent elements so that the audiences understand that they are advertising the same product.
